Meet Ms. Adams!

THANK YOU to all of the Students, Families, Community Members, Staff, and Edible Classroom Friends who joined us this weekend for our Earth Day Celebration at Taylor Middle School! The weather held out just long enough for us to complete our projects and crafts, including painting signs for our new garden, painting rocks, painting pots, and even painting faces.

Several 6th grade students participated in a celebration for a job well done on the PSSA tests last year! They got to choose which teacher they got to pie in the face. 5th graders are looking forward to this opportunity next year!

Students and Staff dressed up for Hawaiian Day today!

Please join us this Saturday for our Earth Day Event at Taylor Middle School! Meet us on the playground at our new Edible Classroom between 1pm and 3pm, for some crafting, giveaways, and garden decorating.
In the event of bad weather, we will cancel our Earth Day Event and notify you before the end of the school day on Friday April 21st.

Meet Mrs. Lake!

Today's Edible Classroom lesson included planting potatoes and sampling frozen fruit smoothies made with spinach for added nutrition!

Thank you to everyone who donated canned goods to our food drive! We were able to donate a total of 611 cans to our local food shelter. The two homerooms that collected the most cans were Mrs. Baker and Ms. Adams!

Come celebrate Earth Day with us at Taylor Middle School on Saturday April 22nd! This family drop-in event will include crafts, decorating our new Edible Classroom Garden, and giveaways! This event is open to our nearby community members as well!

This morning, the CBSD Theater Department came to Taylor to perform a preview of their Zombie Prom!

Meet Ms. Gamber!

Today our 6th Graders had the opportunity to explore JA Biztown! They had a blast working in various businesses, earning their first paychecks, and choosing how to spend their hard earned money. The CEOs of each business gave a speech, and the mayor was inaugurated by State Representative Brett Miller! Thanks to all of our chaperones who joined us for a great day.
