Yesterday was Camo vs. Animal Print Day at Taylor! I think it's safe to say, camo won!
Taylor students created and began filling our new compost bin! We now have a place for garden debris and veggie scraps. Our ultimate goal is to create healthy soil to place back into our garden beds!

We'll be teaching home composting basics, giving away veggie seed packets, and harvesting our fresh produce to make Garlic Butter Kale Rice and Green Smoothies out in the garden together. 🔸 If you can't make it next week, mark your calendars for July 19 and August 9. Today we held an awards ceremony for our 6th grade students! Many families were able to join us in celebrating all they have achieved this year. We can't wait to see how far you go, Class of 2029!
Students and staff had a blast at our Field Day today, and the Green Team (Miss Taylor's Team) won! A Huge THANK YOU to all of our parent volunteers who helped make our morning run smooth.

Some of our 6th grade students recently entered a competition through Lancaster Online, where they were tasked with designing an ad for a local business. This year's theme was "The Importance of Education." Here is our building winner and her advertisement -- Congratulations Zury!

Our 6th grade students visited the hill campus this morning for the Step Up to the Hill Day! 7th grade student leaders, who were specially selected by their teachers, showed the 6th grade students around the campus and had community building activities planned for them!

Students in the LFG Program had their closing celebration this week, where leadership awards were handed out and family members were able to celebrate with them!

5th Grade Students took a trip to Gettysburg today, where they visited the Children of Gettysburg 1863 Museum and toured the battlefield.
Today in the Edible Classroom students ate greens from the garden and enjoyed herb tea at recess!
Kindness Club students visited a kindergarten classroom at Park Elementary to do an activity with them about how they can "bee" kind!
