Work Permits are processed during the school year, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 2:30pm, in the Student Services Office at Columbia High School/Middle School Hill Campus.
Applications are available in the Student Services Office. Applicant and parent/caregiver must come to the Hill Campus to complete the paperwork(student must be present to sign the permit).
Students Enrolled at CBSD
The first time a working permit application is processed, the parent/guardian must be present with the following documents:
Parent/Guardian driver’s license or State photo ID card
Students Not Enrolled at CBSD
If the student is not enrolled in CBSD the following documents must be provided:
Student’s birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport
Parent/Guardian driver’s license or State photo ID card
Parent/guardians who cannot be present for the first application may designate another adult who must present a notarized letter authorizing their representation.
Summer Hours
During the summer months, work permits are issued Monday-Thursday from 8:00-3:00.
