a photo of a news article showing a photo of 2 kids, with 2 adults, and a dog mascot. The article reads" They were on their toes. Trevor Leas, 10, and Greg Bowers, 11, were on duty as crossing guards for Taylor Elementary School last week when they noticed smoke coming from a neighboring home. They notified the residents and had the call put in for a fire company. Thankfully the was no fire, but their action was recognized by the Susquehanna Fire Company by a certificate of award. Pictured above with Trevor and Greg are Bob Elias, Taylor Principal, and Henry Reese, assistant Hambones fire chief, and Sparky, who made the awards."
